Những kiến thức về lịch sử của ông Tân đã làm say mê nhiều ngưuời tham dự và ai nấy đều nức lòng mong muốn có một khu phố Việt Nam, một cộng đồng có người, học vấn cao hạng nhất Bắc Mỹ với 42% có trình độ đại học, lợi tức trung bình cao hạng nhất trong các cộng động người Việt tại Canada với 37% hành nghề tự do hay chuyên nghiệp, nhưng chỉ 5% dấn thân vào thương trường thua các cộng đồng khác như người Hoa 20% và người Việt gốc Hoa 15% làm ngành kinh doanh. Ông Tân cũng kêu gọi ,ọi đoàn thể, mọi ngưòi trong cộng đồng VN hưỡng ứng và giúp đỡ để có được khu phố VN, để lại di sản cho các thế hệ sau thay vì chỉ để lại các mộ bia trong nghĩa trang!Trước khi quyết định thành lập khu phố VN anh Tân cũng hỏi ý kiến một nhà phong thủy Tàu và sau khi đưa ông ta đi xem khu vực, nhà phong thủy Tàu đã nói Metro Jean Talon Việt thương nhân nhất đái vạn đại Viêt Nam phố, nghĩa là một khi thương gia Việt đến khu nầy rồi thì muôn đời là phố Việt Nam. Ủy ban thành lập khu phố cũng đã phối hợp các thương gia tại đây mua nguyên trang báo Ánh Nắng để quảng bá khu phố và dịch vụ của họ.
